Manchester Digital brings together organisations and individuals from all parts of the digital industry - from creative to technical, from software to media, from telecommunications to marketing.

Our vision is simple, that by working together we can make Manchester and the surrounding region an even better place for digital business.

Our events programme brings members together where they can learn and do business - from the flagship Big Chip Awards - celebrating the best from the region - through regular top quality seminars and evening events, to small self-help groups and networks offering practical help and advice. Our website, RSS feeds, newsletter and LinkedIn and Facebook groups keep members informed and in touch. Perhaps most importantly, all members of Manchester Digital agree to be bound by the Code of Practice so clients can buy from members with confidence.

Manchester Digital is a non-profit association, independent of the public sector, but well connected with policy makers and committees, where we promote the sector's interests.

So why not join Manchester Digital and gain the benefits of working together for Manchester and the region? Membership costs just £25 per year for individuals and freelancers, or from £50 a year for businesses. Students can join for free.

Membership Types

There are three types of Manchester Digital membership: organisation membership (including sole trader or freelance), individual membership, student membership.

All members can:

• Attend MD events
• Benefit from exclusive discounts for members
• Join Manchester Digital working groups
• Vote or stand in elections for Manchester Digital Council

Membership Costs

Organisation and Sole Trader Membership

Membership Costs are based on the size of your organisation as follows:

• Sole trader (freelance) = £25 per year
• Organisations with 2 to 10 employees = £50 per year
• Organisations with 11 to 100 employees = £250 per year
• Organisations with 101+ employees = £500 per year

Once you have completed the online application form you will be sent an invoice based on the information you have provided. Manchester Digital reserves the right to terminate your membership if any of the membership information given is incorrect.

Once you have registered you may also provide other members of your organisation with their own login as part of your registration so that they may participate in forums and create content.

Your membership will become due for renewal after one year (and in subsequent years) and you will be emailed 30 days beforehand to remind you. You will then be invoiced for a further year's subscription unless you indicate that you do not wish to continue as a member.

Individual Membership

£25 per year.

Student Membership

Free.

Student membership is free but you must register with an email address ending in ac.uk.

Application

• To pay the membership fee applicable;
• To the Terms and Conditions currently in force;
• (If you are signing up as an organisation or sole trader), to abide by the Code of Practice;
